Hopefully YES featuring ARW will come near my area, with an album release and new music live.

Nothing yet

but would love for Avenged Sevenfold to do a make up tour for the one they just cancelled, assuming M. Shadows recovers as expected.

Just saw this announced for next year on facebook (totally was confusing thinking this was actually coming up in 2018) and definitely want to check it out although it's pretty far out:

September 20th - Delain, Amorphis, and Anneke Van Giersbergen @ Irving Plaza, New York City NY

That is pretty far in advance going into 2019.  Looks like a good bill.  It shouldn't take that long to sell the 1,200 tickets though.

As for my 2019 concert plans.  Nothing yet, but hopefully Tremonti will announce some US shows in the West Coast and I'll go to the Los Angeles show of it.

Avantasia in March 2019 here in Milan

Iron Maiden should they ever play some additional gigs in Europe (most likely Italy, though if all stars align I could be tempted to try with a foreign concert)
I use my sig to pimp some bands from Italy! Check out Elvenking (Power / Folk metal), Folkstone (Rock / Medieval metal), Arcana Opera (Gothic/Noir/Heavy metal) and the beautiful voice of Elisa!

I'd definitely be checking out iron maiden and avantasia if either tour the states this year. I think it's possible for both to happen since avantasia played NYC once before, they could do something similar. That was one of the best concerts I've ever been to and the longest performance of a single band I've seen.

Steven Wilson in February
Definitely Avantasia when/if they announce their show there (pretty sure they will)
Maybe Haken somewhere in Europe in February/March

I'd go see DT but they didn't come here for both TA tour or I&W anniversary tour. Not holding my hopes for that.

Winger Theater Forums........or WTF.  ;D
TAC got a higher score than me in the electronic round? Honestly, can I just drop out now? :lol

Yeah, DT if they are playing LA, I don't mind seeing them at the Wiltern Theater (that's where they've been playing in the last few times in LA).

Iron Maiden's bound to do a US leg of the Legacy of the Beast Tour next year and I'm making a wild guess that it is bound to be a Summer Amphitheater tour.  Hopefully, they do not play at the Glen Helen Amphitheater for the Southern California show like they did last year, but I'm thinking they are too big for the local Amphitheater show where I'm at (FivePoint Amphitheater in the OC which holds 12,000 people).  I will settle at going to The Forum in Inglewood if they do a show there (I'll be in the bleacher seats since I'm a wuss).

Just found out Toby Driver's playing a show in Alabama a few weeks from now, like an hour away from me. Can't seem to find out anything about tickets but it's not financially crippling I think I'll try to make it.

And I guess there's a strong chance I'm seeing DT sometime next year too. That's all I know so far.

So far - the Marillion weekend in Leicester. There's a possibility that I may be relocating in the near to middle future, I don't want to buy tickets to gigs when I may not be living here!

All right, got tickets for my first concert planned in 2019.

Switchfoot - Wiltern Theater, Los Angeles, CA - April 5th

The first time I really got into Switchfoot was back around, I believe, 2014 during a live stream that Live Nation was hosting.  Liked the performance, liked the chilled-out vibe these guys, especially vocalist Jon Foreman, was showing.  Looked like a show I would love to be a part of the crowd.  Venue is also at the Wiltern Theater.  I liked the Wiltern Theater when I saw Alter Bridge played there in 2014.  Classy looking venue.  The difference between that concert and this concert is that, hopefully, I would not be sick come show day and that I bought a ticket in the floor rather than the nosebleed.  Costs me $41.75 overall for GA, which is actually pretty good value, based on how long these guys have been around and how many good songs these guys have.

Got my ticket for Disturbed so here is 2019 so far, September is already looking really awesome for prog/power music:

February 25h - Disturbed and Three Days Grace @ Madison Square Garden, New York City NY
September 4-7 - ProgPower USA 20 @ Center Stage, Atlanta GA
September 14th - Kamelot, Sonata Arctica, & Battle Beast @ Terminal 5, New York City NY
September 20th - Delain, Amorphis, & Anneke Van Giersbergen @ Irving Plaza, New York City NY

Now I am looking forward to some tour announcements hopefully from Iron Maiden, Dream Theater, and Avantasia.
Others who have releases and hopefully come to the USA next year:  Within Temptation, Amaranthe
Others who regularly tour and hope to see again next year: 311, Sublime with Rome, Less Than Jake

Wanted to see this band since I was 12 years old. 30 years later, it will finally happen. And the people-watching will be damn good comedy.
