Hello DTF Member,

If you are reading this, you are invited to participate in the DTF Fantasy Football League for the 2018 season.

2017…. The league was pretty dead. 8 Players, not a lot of smack talk. In fact, the 2017 Thread is only one page!

I had an idea for the draft, which is why I’m broaching this so early.
How would everyone feel about doing an “offline” (read not on Yahoo!) draft here on the forum? Once we would establish who would be playing (8,10,12 players would be best). We begin the draft in this thread. When it’s your turn to pick, you comment with your pick. The rounds can go as quickly as people are available to reply with their picks… but we could impose a deadline, say 24 or 48 hours. If you don’t reply in time, you get the highest rated player at your greatest position of need. We would have to start this pretty early to ensure that all 16-18 rounds are complete by Week 1 of the NFL season. Of course the bad part about that is we’d be drafting all of the big names before the preseason plays out, which could bite us due to injuries.

Does this idea seem interesting? If not, we can always do the live draft as in years past.

Once we have the players identified we can vote on stuff like that, PPR and bench size.

The 8 teams from last year have been auto-renewed. If you don’t want to play this year, feel free to delete your team, or let me know and I’ll do so.
