The Astonishing Live DVD/Blu Ray
« on: March 15, 2018, 05:02:13 AM »
Hi guys

Just wanted to introduce myself, My name is Steve and I am a Dream Theater fan from the UK, I know this question has probably been asked before but is there any talk of The Astonishing live coming to DVD or Blu Ray? I saw the show at the London palladium and it was immense, would love to see it again in video format

Thanks for accepting me into the DT Community

Welcome to the forum dude! Unfortunately no live release of this coming. Good thing you caught it live. My first live DT experience was seeing this album played in full, up in the front rows  :metal
From a Mega Man Legends island jamming power metal to a Walrus listening to black metal, I like your story arc.

Thanks guys

This was one of the best live shows I’ve ever seen in fact could be the top show, I’ve seen maiden 24 times but this one was original and thought provoking, seeing it again with a top live release would have been brilliant but the show will always be a life highlight

Yeah, it was an incredible show indeed! I saw it in Seattle at The Paramount Theater. It's really "too bad" that this tour didn't get immortalized on film.  Another one that got away,,,  so I Wither.

Still makes me glad and sad at the same time regarding no video release of this show. I LOVED the live show and so badly wanted a video release of it. Too bad it might not materialize.
