Maybe not butthurt, but (and you just did it yourself above) more expressions of one's own views that end up implying that KTLX is 'wrong' in his views/ratings.

I'm honestly not surprised. TPE is a 5 star album for me, but it doesn't strike me as Katt's sort of thing at all. Honestly, I think he might dig the Road Salts more, which I also think are excellent.

First, let me say that I'm totally with Jingle on this; if you're really taking this to heart, you might really need to look in the mirror and re-evaluate. It's all in fun.

But having said that, I'm sort of psyched that some classic music is getting props here, and some of the music I personally think is way over-rated and pretentious is sort of being recognized as such. My opinion only.

My problem now is that I've never found myself in this position; I'm usually well into the bottom half by now and I can just send random, wild shit. So.... with two rounds left, I think I'm going to split the baby; I'm going to play it safe(r) this round, and go for broke in the last round with a controversial pick.

(Actually everyone in the top 5 looks to have a decent chance). Or at least, see where you stand after the next round. Not saying you shouldn't send the "controversial" pick, because maybe it would be successful. But just really consider if there's a chance he'll like it.

Stadler's done pretty well thus far, to be honest. I knew he'd be going with classic picks for the roulette but he came out strong and has been consistently good or even great since. Insofar as filling the surprisingly large classics gap in my collection, he's doing the lord's work
