The way this starts I knew I was going to like it. And the best thing about it is that it's actually one of my least favorite parts

I'm gonna reveal it already, I absolutely loved that saxophone there, sounds really sexy (lol) and it works well, pretty smooth, me thinks. It just sounds epic, heavy and emotional at the same time, with many layers. There are some other changes they don't pull so smoothly and that's my only real complaint. It's on the long side and I enjoyed all of it, that's a good sign. The ending is also great, I like melodeath elements of guitarplay.
I don't think you had to be scared with this submission, really good stuff and you didn't disappoint once again

Not my favorite of the round but it's up there. Train, you're in for round 5 with Floating on the Murmuring Tide by In Vain.

I'm just going to announce my two favorites now because it's easier, I still have no idea about last 3 songs and who is out $:-\$

I heard this before once but I didn't like enough so I didn't ban it although Sufjan is banned. And I asked you to resubmit if you want, good thing you didn't, this is fire. Even though this is different than Sufjan's music, it still has his voice and I'm big fan of his singing, it always make me calm. I didn't hear all of his music but the part I heard is all folk, not electronic and this weird. It's weird in a good way

I think they really used those vocal effects perfectly, that "Father of light, father of death..." creeps the hell out of me every time

Jupiter is all around great song. Home, get ready for the next round

Here's my favorite from the start. I think I feel in love with singer's voice from first word, his timbre is perfect in my ears and he lifts song a long. Of course, it's not that it's this song only quality, far from that. There is some subtle stuff I adore. Those groovy tom hits, guitar feedback, wailing guitar in background. Really, the atmosphere is on point. Similar to Train's song, this one's also heavy and emotional at the same time and you know how it hits me. Also, it smoothly changes style later, getting more Black Sabbath vibe and I quite like that (although first few minutes are my favorite).

I have a really fun song though that I was too scared to send because I thought it might get me eliminated, I'll send that and maybe some other less serious songs. I still think they're truly great but maybe not the best fit for the roulette.

Still wish I could appreciate that Jupiter song as much as everyone else, nothing about it connects with me

To make it clear right away, LordCost, you're safe. I kinda liked your song from the start but I couldn't get into it fully, like there was something missing. Fortunately for you, it clicked with me after many listens. It sounds like Steven Wilson a lot, not just the music but also the voice. Similar to his music, this goes all over the place which isn't always a good thing but here it is. There are these small atmospheric pauses and buildups (I love those drums) that really make this song interesting and definitely as if it's shorter than 9 minutes. First tree songs are very good so you'll have to be satisfied with the 4th place even though this song is good as well.

Next, there are two songs I had even more trouble getting into. First one's chorus actually got stuck in my head (and I could't remember anything else from the songs) and second was pretty forgettable for me, unfortunately.
This one seemed very familiar, mostly because it sounds like The Dear Hunter to the point it's almost forced. As I said chorus got stuck in my head from the start, the rest needed some time but in the end I liked it enough to give it green light for the next round. Soupytwist, this one's was your worst submission so far but you're still in!
And here we come to the last song... the song that is actually pretty good but I couldn't get into it no matter what. And I heard it many many times, more than any other song, because I wanted to like it more. It's ok when I'm listening to it but I can't remember one melody, one word, anything... I'm sorry, Puppies_On_Acid, you're out!
