We have our three guaranteed qualifiers from Group A, with The Watchmaker and Regret #9 joining My Book of Regrets in the hat for the last 16. And the race to see who will win the group is still very much alive, especially as My Book of Regrets plays The Watchmaker in Round 9. Group position is still important, as it will be referred to when settling tied tiebreaker rounds in the knockout stage, so there's still significance going into the final round. It's still mathematically possible for Home Invasion to snatch 4th place (and possible qualification) from The Same Asylum in the final round, but it needs a lot to happen.

Three Years Older books its place in the knockout stage, joining Pariah and Drive Home as the three guaranteed qualifiers from Group B. The top 3 positions are still yet to be settled though, with Pariah going up against Three Years Older in the final round. Meanwhile, To the Bone is only 2 points behind Happy Returns in the race for 4th place, and Happy Returns arguably has the harder match of the two in R9, going up against Drive Home. So plenty to play for still in Group B.
