The Wilson Cup - Qualifying Stage (Round 1)

It begins! Welcome to The Wilson Cup, a new and hopefully positive way of deciding a forum champion among Steven Wilson songs.

We begin with the Qualifying stage. The 35 songs in the poll above are taken mainly from non-album tracks, although I've also included the instrumental interlude tracks from Grace for Drowning and Hand Cannot Erase. It's your job now to pick the FIVE songs you want to see compete in the main tournament. Depending on how many participants we get, we'll eliminate many of the tracks at the end of this round, then we'll go on to a second round, until we have our five qualifiers. Basically, this stage should finish a lot quicker than if we ran a 35-song Survivor, and we can get to the meat of the tournament.

You have THREE DAYS to vote. For this stage, I've decided to give you the option to change your vote, should you want to.

With a little over 24 hours left to vote here, and enough votes on the board already, I've decided the cutoff point is 2 votes. So any song with 2 votes or fewer will be eliminated. As things stand right now, that will leave us with eight songs to go into a second and potentially final round.
