Round 2 of the V: The New Mythology Suite survivor. In this division of the survivor, we decide which songs from this album will go on to the finals & consolations. This album placed 3rd in the album survivor, so the 1st to 4th place songs will go on to the finals, with 5th going to consolation, where it'll have an extra chance to accompany it in the finals. Now that the obvious first pick is out, I've relistened to the album & - while it was a lot better than I remembered - I felt like there were some tracks that could've been either cut from the album or placed at the end the previous track with no detriment. Actually, two specific songs stick out to me as this being the case (I think that was grammatically right). Other than Transcendence, there's one other segue that I feel could've been placed as an outro (despite the name) to the previous track similarly to Communion & The Oracle & have that previous song feel more special as a result. Otherwise, this track doesn't serve much purpose on its own, which is why it gets my second vote.
