I have literally hundreds of albums on my iPod and picked 20 songs randomly, I'm good
Is there at least some The Neal Morse Band or Sons of Apollo in there though? Otherwise might as well burn the iPod, bad music
people on this board are actual music fans who developed taste in music and not casual listeners who are following current fashion trends and listening to only current commercial hits.

Are those actual songs?    (Honey!  Where's my walker!  It's time  for my PILLS!)

I picked Dream Theater (only song I've ever heard there)

Ditto.  I've only even heard of a couple of the other bands listed.  Sigh....

Quite a lot of SW's music, both solo and PT,  doesn't click with me. However in recent years he has really resonated with me. HCE and TTB are just amazing and the last few before that weren't bad either. I really do think there's something for everyone, not unlike Devin Townsend.

I kinda liked In Absentia, but that's about it. Raven had good stuff and same with the ones after, but not so that I come back to it. I think I don't care for his voice much. Nothing wrong with it, just doesn't quite work for me.

Sometimes his voice does grate on me. Sometimes I like it and other days the same stuff I liked will irritate me. Sometimes he reminds me of Paul McCartney, in a bad way. Weird.
From a Mega Man Legends island jamming power metal to a Walrus listening to black metal, I like your story arc.
