Been asked a lot lately about status of music. So quick update is as follows: working right now on Track 6 of what will be a 6-song digital-only release. A very different take on composing and recording, every note recorded in my studio. Hoping to start releasing tracks by early November, and will post some snippets soon. I'm really enjoying the process, and I hope you'll enjoy the outcome. Stay tuned...

From Facebook, answering if Mangini would be in the new album:

Unfortunately Mike is holed up in a Prog Wizardry Factory working on the next DT release, so I'm resorting to programming the drums myself. I'm usually not into programmed drums but I've been working really hard to make sure they fit the right way and sound as natural as possible, will post clips soon and I'm psyched to hear your feedback!

Awesome!  This was one of the better releases from last year.

wait, was that post made after the recording of D/T finished? I assume, he meant D/T by "next DT release" and not DT15 or MM's pending solo album. I loved the first ITGD album too btw.

I’m sure he was refering to MM recording D/T.
