Symphony X Survivor - Twilight In Olympus - Round 1

Round 1 of Twilight In Olympus survivor. In this division of the survivor, we decide which songs from this album will go on to the finals & consolations. This album placed 7th in the album survivor, so the 1st and 2nd place songs will go on to the finals, with 3rd going to consolation, where it'll have an extra chance to accompany it in the finals. For this round, vote for the track you want to go to the finals the least. So here's the album that everyone was surprised when I chose to vote it out first yet still only made it to 7th. Still not sure about what happened with that so I guess I might as well explain it. For me this feels like SX at their weakest songwriting & what I mean by that is, there's very little consistency within songs. They'll often times have one amazing part but very little else to hold it together, which would otherwise be fine, but these tracks are some of the longest in SX's catalog & without as much interesting things happening, I just tune out. My first pick is probably one of the most notorious examples of this, & one of the prime examples of where the songwriting & direction complaints hold the most water for me, making it my least favourite SX song out of all of their albums.
