Why are you allowed to use the 100% real looks for videos but not live?
What will/would it take for them to use the actual likenesses (live) and not the just-different-enough ones? Everyone... EVERYONE knows who they're supposed to be so why not just let them use the full-on likenesses?
Do they have a "real" band or are they all in their own "real" bands we could check out or is this the only project they have going?
Has there been any talk of getting on live TV on a late night talk show (ie Conan)?
Where else can they go from here? They've done all the key music from I-VI so there isn't much left.
They aren’t monetizing the music videos, so with no money made there isn’t an issue of using the actual outfits. When they’re touring and making money that’s when it becomes an issue with Disney
.
As mentioned above Red Guard and Vader are both in Alustrium, although I don’t recall the other projects the rest of the band has.
As far as live shows they performed during E!s pre-show for I believe the emmys? Early 2016, not sure if they’ve attempted anything else, could be a rights issue as well unless they use the altered costumes like on tour. For that performance they were all in black robes due to the rights issues at the time.
And I know they’re working on a second album, I think it’s possible it will have some new trilogy tracks in addition to less-iconic tracks from originals/prequels. Won’t know for sure until it’s officially announced.
