Out of those, the only one I truly 'like' is Cliffs of Dover. Others are by artists I like but I don't enjoy the songs given (Down In A Hole I don't like to listen to, Rain When I Die/Rooster/Would? etc. though would get my vote).
From a Mega Man Legends island jamming power metal to a Walrus listening to black metal, I like your story arc.

Right Now
No More Tears
Enter Sandman

Those are great songs, and it would take a pretty impressive list to make me think twice about voting them.  IMO, they represent some of the best of what was being put out during this time period.

I also added One and Down in a Hole.  Those aren't really go-to songs for me.  But they are perfectly fine tunes, and are my remaining faves from the ones on the list.

Metallica and Van Halen, I don't think I even enjoy any of the rest of these songs.  That Wallflowers song is decent I guess.  As with the other 90s thread, I'm really not into grunge music so all those songs aren't my cup of tea and while I feel RATM was always a type of music I should like, I really never did.

I'm not familiar with that song.

No I've definitely never heard that before.

I liked a lot of Facelift, but never followed them after that.

But I now have an excuse to repost this pic:

Down in a Hole is easily the best on this list.

None of the rest really do much for me, but they aren't something I usually turn off if I hear them.

I went with:

Right Now
Cliffs of Dover
Enter Sandman
Hard to Handle
I'd Do Anything for Love

But I don't really find any of these songs to be terribly exciting (although I liked all of them quite a lot when they were released).

The Ozzy or Damn Yankees songs would be 6/7 in one order or another, which I think says something about this list because I never really liked Damn Yankees, and No More Tears is from the last thing Ozzy did as a solo artist that I paid any attention to.  The other 8 songs on the list I either don't know or don't recognize by name.

This must be an international list; where I was - New England, mostly - "Rammstein" was a picture with a guy and his hat is on fire.  I'm not sure I ever actually heard a note of music by them.

Oh, and while I get the dickness of "you forgot this song!" I feel like I have to add one, because it's so egregiously missing:  +Live+, the song about the fetus falling to the floor ("Lightning Crashes").  I don't think I've ever heard a song played SO much on rock radio (until the stupid "Hey Soul Sister" by Train, which is equally as bad a song).    That song was EVERYWHERE, and literally made me sell my +Live+ CDs.    I couldn't take it anymore.

I've actually watched some live clips on YouTube. Crazy!

My wife and I do not see eye to eye (or hear ear to ear) when it comes to music, but when we started dating there were two CD's we both owned, one was Live's "Throwing Copper".

The other was the Police's Greastest Hits.

Ozzy Osbourne- No More Tears (My favorite Ozzy song)
Eric Johnson- Cliffs of Dover (Eric Johnson wrote the perfect instrumental guitar piece)
Goo Goo Dolls- Iris (I used to listen to this song nonstop as a child)
Metallica- Enter Sandman (I’m DTF’s resident Metallica fanboy, and basically worship everything they do that isn’t Lulu)
Alice In Chains- Down in a Hole (Not my favorite by AIC, but still an amazing song)

I voted Killing in the Name, Down in a Hole, and I'd Do Anything for Love.

I don't mind Enter Sandman, but out of Metallica 90s hits stuff, Sandman rates on the lower end to me (I rate stuff like Fuel, The Memory Remains, Until it Sleeps, even Sad But True over Enter Sandman).

They've had some great albums like Amorica and By Your Side.

I think it was one of those "moments in time" albums. I mean, I'm more of a metal guy, and I remember trying their second album, but it just didn't hit me like the first one did. I know they've had a great career, but I'm really into other stuff.

But I enjoyed the hell out of that first album and it was awesome seeing them so early in their career.

I'm exactly the same. I only own the first album and I still love it to this day. Nothing else ever grabbed me. Well, maybe Remedy from the second record but that's it.

I liked the first album, but for me, subsequent albums focused on my least favorite side of the band - Chris Robinson.  He annoyed me, and as his influence sort of grew in the band it turned me off.   His early interview, where he said something along the lines of being a better version of Rod Stewart and Robert Plant didn't help.  Robinson is talented, of course (that live album with Page is essential listening) but he can't hold the rag to wipe the sweat off Plant's balls.

Guy who's arguably more famous for his marriage vs. One of the three greatest rock frontmen of all time.  C'mon.
