Yeah, no kidding. I must've fired out 60+ resumes during my job hunt. I'd say 1/2 never even responded. 1/2 of the rest were a very polite FOAD, we decided to pursue candidates that more closely matched our needs - which is a hard pill to swallow WHEN MY RESUME COVERED OFF 100% OF WHAT WAS IN THEIR JOB DESCRIPTION!

Yup! This is a bit different, cause I need an internship to keep going and it's a whole process. So luckily they all have to reply to me, but it's just a matter of how much shame/frustration I'll have to experience till I land a place.

Also keep in mind most places require 500 clinical hours, and I applied with about 1400. Yet still nothing. It's mostly due to my school not having as great a reputation as major universities, which I'm sure are automatically moving to the top of the pile.

Screen in porch doesn't have covers for the windows which is just screens. So I put this thick plastic and have stainless steel staples and do all the Four Square Windows so that no cold air can really get through. Plus the snow.

jingle.girls are doing the Christmas baking this weekend. Lots of scraps and dough to pick through.

Gonna run a few errands, do some chores, and chill the fuck out. This working shit sucks. Jingle.son and I are gonna watch The Force Awakens in prep for The Last Jedi later this week. He's going with his pals... not sure when we'll get a chance to go together.

Still no sign or mention of the Christmas tree here yet. I'd actually forgotten all about it. I've only bought for 1 person and got half of someone else's gift, and haven't thought at all about what I want.

It started snowing but then almost immediately stopped.

I had a co-worker text me that they got a wintery mix in Charlotte and the city pretty much shut down. I'm sure they are helicoptering in bread and milk to the grocery stores now

yea I saw Atlanta got snow and was thinking they are probably in a state of emergency with one inch

It just started coming down hard now, but its early. My local forecast calls for up to 6 inches and snow until tonight. We'll see.

Tim, using Twitter is the best way to get all the sporting news faster than anything else. I have all the beat writers for all the sports all the radio shows. Great way to get information.

The reason why I did that is you couldn't see the response tweet if you retweet it doesn't show both tweets so I wanted to have the full scope of that joke there.

So I usually go on the TSN site for the NHL free agent day, or the trading deadline, and open up their twitter feed. It is very informative.
