6th rejection came in. I'm officially not moving anywhere in Pennsylvania.
10 more to wait for. Not a terribly fun experience.
Yeah, no kidding. I must've fired out 60+ resumes during my job hunt. I'd say 1/2 never even responded. 1/2 of the rest were a very polite FOAD, we decided to pursue candidates that more closely matched our needs - which is a hard pill to swallow WHEN MY RESUME COVERED OFF 100% OF WHAT WAS IN THEIR JOB DESCRIPTION!
Yup! This is a bit different, cause I need an internship to keep going and it's a whole process. So luckily they all have to reply to me, but it's just a matter of how much shame/frustration I'll have to experience till I land a place.
Also keep in mind most places require 500 clinical hours, and I applied with about 1400. Yet still nothing. It's mostly due to my school not having as great a reputation as major universities, which I'm sure are automatically moving to the top of the pile.
