I just don't understand what they were trying to achieve with any part of the song, either individually or as a whole. You know what? It's the Platypus of Dream Theater songs. That bill doesn't go with that tail, or that strange little furry body, or those webbed feet, and oh god why does it have venomous spurs!? And then you find out it lays eggs too. The difference is that the Platypus is somehow functional despite being a crazy mishmash or leftover animal pieces

I dont remember them shutting up. I wound up working on 3.5 hours of sleep yesterday. Also had several people call in "Sick" and wound up working a 12 hours shift. I hate people.

My father went through that. They removed half of his lung. He didn't have to go through the radiation, though, since it was such a small area and they were able to remove it successfully. They removed as much as they did because it wasn't showing up on one of their screenings so they just played it safe and removed more than they had to.

They removed a 1/3 of his right lung.  This spot is in the left.  They've been monitoring it and saw it grew a little so they are going with radiation.

My dad has MS.  He really doesn't feel pain.  That's added to the drama. He's not taking care of himself and the MS is made him very weak.  Oh he is a stubborn man.  We've been talking to him about selling the house and moving in with us.  We want to take care of him but if he's in a wheelchair, and with him not helping himself.  It's going to happen soon and he'll have to move to assisted living.
