Oh... I've seen the preview for that. Seems pretty cool. Sadly, it's only available on Crave here in Canada (streaming service), and I ain't paying for any more of those.

Alright king, I just watched the first episode. For the most part it was quite good, and has a lot of potential to be great depending on which direction it goes from the basic setup. Can't tell yet.
My only real gripe was how unbelievable the flower thing was. He had so many chances to recall such an obvious part of his routine, it just felt forced for the sake of giving that chick something to notice was off. Besides that, I liked everything else about it. I especially like that there's a parallel universe that has a recent divergence point to explain why it's relatively so similar. It never makes sense in parallel universe type stories that you still somehow have the exact same characters despite how different the universes fundamentally are.

First episode gets a B+ from me. I'll watch more and see how it goes.

Excellent. There is so much more that comes with each episode. I think the soft Howard Silk is so naive that he could miss that type of detail.

There's a lot of espionage in this series and the why is interesting.

I excused it when he missed that detail at the house. Then the dolt finally remembered the flowers. Ah good, he's going to tell him now. Nope, he remembers he brings flowers, still entirely forgetting the part of his routine where he leaves a flower at the desk. Ok, it's a huge stretch, but whatever. Then last minute he remembers oh, btw let me tell you the name of the nurse there. OK BUT HOW DO YOU REMEMBER THIS WITHOUT REMEMBERING THAT IT'S RELEVANT BECAUSE YOU LEAVE A FUCKING FLOWER AT THE DESK. FUCK.
Sorry, that one just grinds my gears. The one bit of majorly dud writing in an otherwise good episode. It would have been a case of less is more, because there were just too many chances for him to correct himself for me to suspend my disbelief there.

I don't care about espionage. Give me split screen double parallel universe shenanigans and more glowy scifi stuff!

My experience is that if you said that 15 years ago, we'd say "Ooooohhhhh, you may want to rethink that..." and now it's "wow, cool! Enjoy your stay in Boston!" I could be wrong, but that's my impression.

I've been down to Chinatown for food. You are close to the waterfront and Faneuil Hall. I suggest looking at the T. It's the trains that go throughout the town.

That was my guess as well, but it's nice to have some confirmation from you guys.

The apartment is just a few blocks from Boston Common, so if the kids want to walk the freedom trail, it will be nice to start from there. Otherwise, I think there a couple of train stations nearby so getting around won't be difficult.

Park Street is the train station at the Common. It connects bother the Green and blue lines. There are 4 lines. You are also close to the theater district as well.

Good Morning Folks.

Twas an interesting weekend. On Saturday, other half and I went to Red Lobster for her work (Basically getting paid to talk about their "Lobster Fest" promotion. $150 worth of food.

And then Sunday we went down to a taping of an America's Got Talent Audition taping. It was interesting. Fun Fact- When there are "Golden Buzzer" crowd shots throughout the auditions, it's the same crowd. Doesn't matter what episode. They do one take of the crowd for the golden buzzers. LOOK FOR MY FAT ASS.
