Orcus- So, this was one of the three on the bottom. I think I was just more thrown off by having an instrumental out of the instrumental(ish) round, and also it just seemed to tease at me but not take it anywhere. There's a certain sound to it that did appeal to me, which is probably what saved you (check out Tempel- The Mountain, this track reminded me of that one which I love). Anyhoo, curious to see what else you got, you're through man...

King- Wow man, just wow. Such a complex and rich song, yet clean and playful. Loved every second of this. Got a heavy Haken vibe off it, which will always get you into my good graces for sure. This song was just fantastic man. Thank you.

Tomislav- Dude, such a killer band, gut punch shit with strengths up and down the board. There's a lot here I like, as Jingle said, it's right in my current wheelhouse for sure. I will be digging heavily into these guys when this roulette is done.

This was beyond close, and as I posted above, it was up to which song stuck in my head today, and that was King's. Congrats man, you got yourself some immunity. For what it's worth, Anciients has been getting about twice as much play as any other band this last six months. That's where I've been at. I listened to the whole Soen album, that shit is fucking KILLER

lonestar has all my songs anyways so he can listen to them if he wants even if i get cut. 100% recommend listening to the album since i very highly doubt i'll get to the final two, but the rest of the stuff is all really good as well so whatever 

as far as soen goes i wasn't a huge fan of the new one but tellurian is great, some of the best prog rock i've heard in recent memory
