Metallica Survivor 2017-18: The Albums: Final Round

Results from round 8.

Ride the Lightning: 10 (38.5%)
Master of Puppets: 4 (15.4%)
...And Justice for All: 12 (46.2%)

...And Justice for All is the next one out, failing to make a second appearance in the final round but still earning a place on the podium. It comes down to Ride the Lightning and Master of Puppets, two thrash metal juggernauts that helped shape and define a genre. Only one album can take the crown as the best Metallica album.

Ride The Lightning. I hesitate for a 20 seconds about it, but Master Of Puppets for me is very special one. My personal ranking would be:

2. Ride The Lightning
3. ...And Justice For All
4. The Black Album
5. Kill'em All

7. Load
8. Reload

I will never, ever say anything bad about Master, or find it weird if someone calls it their favorite (Metallica) album. But my personal preference goes to Ride the Lightning so I vote against Master.

01: Master of Puppets (my all time favorite album)
02: ...And Justice for All
03: The Black Album
04: Hardwired...To Self-Destruct
05: Kill 'Em All
06: Ride the Lightning
07: Death Magnetic (this is the biggest change, falling from 3rd to 7th)
