Anesthetize is awesome, but I still think Arriving Somewhere But Not Here is just a little bit better.

I don't know what it is about Deadwing but it didn't click with me at all apart from a couple of songs.

I really enjoy TI and I think it's superior to Deadwing.

I've only been into Porcupine Tree for a few months. My favorite album of theirs has been Deadwing. Butt I'm betting that could change in the future because Fear of a Blank Planet and In Absentia are both really fucking good.

For me its a toss up between In absentia and FOABP, perhaps even a tie. In absentia has some really incredible songs and a nice variety.
There is no song I don't like on FOABP and anesthetize is legendary.

I definitely dig The incident, but have never been huge on Deadwing.

Ultimately, I miss Porcupine Tree. When I saw them for the first time on the Incident tour, never did it cross my mind that this would actually be their last tour  :'(

A guy at work made me a copy, and while I did like Arriving Somewhere and The Start Of Something Beautiful, I just thought those first four songs blew. The vocals suck, and I was frankly disappointed after them getting DTF blowjobs constantly.

What??

I think Lazarus is probably my favourite Steven Wilson song, solo or PT! Just beautiful  :hefdaddy

Deadwing is my favorite album, so given that it's paired with two pretty great songs on the Lazarus EP (So called friend and Half-light), it's an easy vote.

I am so happy those songs weren't on Deadwing.

Half Light is a solid tune, but Glass Arm Shattering is better and a superior choice as a closer.

So Called Friend has some awkward vocal melodies, so that has become a song I never revisit.

Some of the verse vocal melodies o So called friend are a bit generic but I'm not too bothered by them. I agree Glass arm is superior as the album closer, although I adore Half-light as well.

I don't think PT has a metal era. They have heavy passages in some songs, but I wouldn't define this as "metal era".

Glass Arm Shattering is one of the best songs on Deadwing.

I enjoy So Called Friend, espiecially the drum work by Gavin. The main riff sounds incredibly similar to "Part Of Me" by Tool

Glass Arm Shattering is incredible! The signature SW choirs are strong on this one, just utterly amazing if you ask me.
Not 'Down To F***', but 'Dream Theater Forums' .
