These are the 2017 releases I've purchased this year. Which is your favourite, if you have one?

Only one of those I've even heard of is Steven Wilson, therefore...
From a Mega Man Legends island jamming power metal to a Walrus listening to black metal, I like your story arc.

I like it how after seven votes, so far, we all picked Steven Wilson's.....  Not that I'm surprised.

Nope. All genuine albums by incredible bands/artists.

All of you need these incredible bands/albums in your life. Or at the very least you need to broaden your Prog horizons.

I haven't heard any of these ones! :lol I did buy the SW album this weekend (will listen to it this week), and Big Big Train is still on my radar though.

I'm not a fan of any of the first four Blackfield albums; I gave up on Mostly Autumn after Heather Findlay left; I own Please Come Home by Lonely Robot and I wasn't impressed with it. The Tangent and Rikard Sjöblom's Gungfly are the only ones I don't know, what are they like?
This first band is Soen very cool swingy jazz fusion kinda stuff.

The Tangent - Elements of prog, jazz, funk, disco, a dash of punk.

Gungfly - The spirit of Beardfish lives on in this 'solo' album by their singer/writer. Quirky, Zappa-esque.

I'd vote if I had heard anything from any of those albums.
Everyone else, except Wolfking is wrong.
