Poor man's attempt at being a rock singer?

I thought JLB was a rock singer. What is he?

He’s an awful singer, I think that’s the official title

I'm no mod, but I feel like these posts will get you in trouble. Just a thought.

For sharing my opinion? That’s fair!

It's just that you signed up here a handful of days ago, immediately made a beeline to the Sons of Apollo thread to ask where all the "hate" is coming from for that band (this despite saying you hadn't read any of the thread, so I'm not sure how you therefore concluded there is "hate" on here), and now you're in this thread declaring every solo album by Dream Theater to be "shit" and saying James Labrie is an "awful singer". It just makes me wonder why you signed up to a Dream Theater fans message board.

As someone who recently fired off before thinking (as you'll see by my 'watched' status on the left), I would suggest learning from my mistake and finding a more respectful and intellectual approach to the conversation rather than saying someone 'sucks' and leaving it at that. It is also quite odd for reasons Dave already mentioned
From a Mega Man Legends island jamming power metal to a Walrus listening to black metal, I like your story arc.

Trevor Rabin - I Can't Look Away.   Certainly desrves an honorable mention!  :coolio
I know, not related to the thread but I had to say it.

Not sure about his official title, but now you certainly have one!

Came in to vote for a James LaBrie album.. now I can't vote

I could understand failing to list the Mullmuzzler albums, maybe.... they are great though

But not listing the albums given out under the name James LaBrie..... major failure

No.
Hef is right on all things. Except for when I disagree with him. In which case he's probably still right.

Seems though if you look at bosk's rules of the forum;

12. Insults or senseless bashing of the current or former band members of Dream Theater and/or their music will not be tolerated.  Honest, open critique is always allowed, provided it is constructive and does not cross the line and become bashing, belittling, etc.

Repeating that James is an awful singer in a significant percentage of 18 posts seems like senseless bashing to me.
Everyone else, except Wolfking is wrong.

Wow, I'm shocked. I always loved Petrucci's album and voted for it, but I didn't think it would win, let along by this margin. I kinda feel bad for voting for it now, a lot of excellent stuff on that list.

poor mans attempt at trying to be a rock singer.

As noted by others, personal attacks on present or past members of DT are not tolerated here.  And throwing an "oh, but it's just my opinion" at the end doesn't somehow make it acceptable.  Tactful, constructive criticism is welcome.  This is neither.

Same.
