Didn't really dig the Nothing More either.  it's like Periphery with no harsh vocals.

I don't think it's the actual "age" thing, but as time passes - and our music libraries keep expanding - we naturally get more particular and demanding.  About 2-3 years ago, if something was a 3* album or 7/10, it would get a couple of repeat listens.  Nowadays, if it doesn't grab me right away as an 8+/10, I'm most likely shelving it.  There's just too much great music easily accessible, I am not going to wast a minute with anything that is just 'good', let alone 'mediocre'.

if you wanna know how my roulette is going, i've done 6 of 10 writeups for the last round and every score is lower than the lowest score you gave in round 1 

We're probably not going to have that problem in Round 2. 

  thought I would see stuff like Thank You Scientist, Haken and The Dear Hunter this round but I guess we'll have to wait a bit longer.
