Prank Calls
« on: August 19, 2017, 09:47:49 PM »
I know it's been a kajillion years since I last posted but I needed to post this.

I love watching prank calls on youtube.

Especially Cspan calls, but local access has gems too.

Here are a few of my favorites:

Public access: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5gRSHe0pSdc (especially at 3:06 when he talks about harley riding)

Cspan: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YRWen6392yA (my favorite is at 0:34)

Cspan: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jHg2HUFTKag (one of my favorites from the 2012 election)

There's more, obviously. Anyone have others?

(related, i love stupid 911 calls too, but I'm not posting them. yet.)
I don’t know what to put here anymore

I enjoyed the recordings of the at this point very old, Tube Bar calls.

Pretty influential, being tied to The Simpsons.

I really like the more contemporary flavor of prank calls, video game soundboards: https://youtu.be/M85oA-ANXPY?t=41s

Sycsa is perhaps the most brilliant and insightful man I have ever encountered.

The best ones are always when telemarketers call people who like to fuck with them. When somebody's trying to sell something they can be jerked around indefinitely.

Argument, the presentation of reasonable views, never makes headway against conviction, and conviction takes no part in argument because it knows.
