HELLOWEEN EP

Helloween were formed in Hamburg, Germany, by Kai Hansen and Michael Weikath, bassist Markus Grosskopf, and drummer Ingo Schwichtenberg. Do You know that were originally named Second Hell and then Iron Fist before morphing into Helloween? That happened somehere in 1982. In 1984 they signed with Noise International. In early 1985 They recorded that 5 track EP with Hansen on vocals.

Kai Hansen – vocals, guitar
Michael Weikath – guitar
Markus Grosskopf – bass
Ingo Schwichtenberg – drums

Warrior...he wasn't fight well enough to beat the Murderer... For me, any of those 4 songs could win now. But I'll go with Starlight... Murderer, Fate and Freedom deserve a little bit more  ;)

For me always Murderer was higher than Starlight, Starlight is awesome, has got some awesome bass lines. But that part in Murderer
"Look for a safe place where no one will find you

Wanting to get you for sure (...)" and a solo after Ruuuun Aaaaaaaaaaway! is the most headbanging metal moment ever for me  :metal :metal :metal :metal :metal :metal :metal

I'm actually not a sympathizer of the early Kai stuff - the only song on here I truly like is Starlight, and even here I prefer the version with Kiske on vocals. Still, Victim of fate is a fine song. Cry for freedom will be my next choice, as it's almost on the same level as Murderer.
