Any other fans here?

New album, A Black Mile to the Surface, comes out on the 28th.

They've released a few new songs so far and they're all fantastic. If the rest of the album approaches how good these songs are, this could jump to the top of my album of the year list.

The Alien: https://youtu.be/71U_qjHLM58

The Gold: https://youtu.be/qaeWss85_vg

I'm a pretty recent fan, Tomislav got me into them with the song "Virgin" which I still think is their best song. That song captures a really haunting mood that I fail to see in any of their other stuff so if anyone has suggestions I'd love that. Listened to a couple of albums but only once or twice.

About the new songs, I really like The Alien but not sure yet how I feel about The Gold, will check out that album next week for sure.
people on this board are actual music fans who developed taste in music and not casual listeners who are following current fashion trends and listening to only current commercial hits.

bump.

They have a new song out that's pretty cool "Bed Head"

and the new album "A Million Masks of God" comes out on April 30th.

I've never really gotten into them, but they've always been a band talked about and mentioned among The Dear Hunter fans. They toured with TDH many years ago, and Andy Hull also was on THE RED EP from The Color Spectrum.

I recall their last album found a lot of new fans, but I honestly never checked it out that "A Black Mile to the Surface." But I may want to now.

That new track is very atmopheric. The piano especially adds a lot.

I freaking loved A Black Mile To The Surface. I recently got the rest of their discography but haven't had much of a chance to check it out except for a song here or there.
Hire me. I'm talentless but malleable.
