Received the pre-ordered book today. Had a flick through it and saw my name in the 'Roll of Honour', which was nice. Looks to be an entertaining read, especially since I really enjoyed reading Lifting Shadows. I have faith that mr. Wilson's work on this book is equally good.

I have some other book(s) to finish before I can start on this one, but thanks in advance for having written this!

Steven Wilson himself refused to work on this book, but the other band members did lend their hand. I think that's what's meant with 'unauthorised', but I'm sure the author has done a good job, even without Steven being a part of it.

Rich, there is one question on my burning mind.

Steven recently hinted on a Q&A that he has a "ritual" that he does with his band before every show that he "wasn't going to get in to".    Of course, that only served to pique my curiosity even more.  Does this book contain any information from any band mates (current or past) that would shed some light on this mystery?   It would be worth the price for that alone.

Why did Steven not want to be a part of it...? Strange. I want this book but knowing that he had nothing to do with it... kind of disappointing
