After a long and exhausting and fascinating run of polls for both The Human Equation and 01011001, we're back to Arjen's side projects now! It is time to pick apart arguably one of the darkest albums Arjen has even made—the debut album of his side project called Guilt Machine. Six somber, moody tracks sung by Jasper Steverlinck, a lot of them over ten minutes long, and only two of them will reach the Finals! What tracks would that be? We will see as this Survivor progresses, and for now, let's dive straight into the Round 1.

The deadline for this round is 48 hours.
This first band is Soen very cool swingy jazz fusion kinda stuff.

Definitely voting Over in this first round. This song feels out of place and a notch below others in quality.

Damn, didn't really have time to properly relisten to this album. Guess I'll try and do some homework or just sit this one out.
I use my sig to pimp some bands from Italy! Check out Elvenking (Power / Folk metal), Folkstone (Rock / Medieval metal), Arcana Opera (Gothic/Noir/Heavy metal) and the beautiful voice of Elisa!

Ironically, right now all I remember of this album is Over's chorus: "Light in the sky is over, killed by... contradiction?", and it's already getting a vote. Meh  :lol

Frustration is all that's left behind.

Seriously though, this album has a lot of good moments. My favourite and probably the most memorable one is that epic instrumental section on Perfection?, or perhaps Season of Denial initial verses.

Ya'll are cray-cray.  I very much enjoy G&C and Over.

Gonna re-listen tonight before I cast my vote.

Great great great Arjen record and very hard for me to chose, but maybe Leland Street?
Must've been Kwyji sending all the wrong songs.   ;D
