Phoebe on Friends. I hate those "duh, I'm cute because I'm an airhead" type roles. It's not cute; it's irritating.

I'd rather put up with a Phoebe over a Monica any day.

Me too, and Monica over Rachel.

My general answer is any of those quippy, smarmy, too-smart-for-school people.   The character that Joel McHale plays on his show, for example.

I might also add some of the people on the procedurals that have no social life and are in the office 21.5 hours every day and beat themselves up like Chris Farley when they don't solve the Jack The Ripper mystery in half an episode.   Abby Schiuto comes to mind here (you can put any of the hipster IT people here from any of the procedural shows).

I would put "Tig" Trager in here, only because I would be scared shitless of him.  He's a maniac.

Who would you LIKE to hang with?
- Leroy Jethro Gibbs
- Any of the DiMeo family members on the Sopranos (bet you didn't know that was the name of the crime family!)
- Jack on "This Is Us"
- Barga or Rollins on "Law And Order: SVU"
- Sipowicz on NYPD Blue
- Jax on Sons of Anarchy (though I'd be scared)
- Tommy Gavin, Janet Gavin, and Sheila Keefe from Rescue Me
- Janet Gavin from Rescue Me
- Sheila Keefe from Rescue Me

I feel like you and I could be.....friends.

Not even going to apologize for that one.

Monica is insufferable.

And extraordinarily selfish and self-centered.  Someone like that in real life would drive you insane.

I think some forget how freaking hot Rachel (Jennifer Aniston) was.  Courteney Cox was really nice to listen to early on in the series, too (she looked amazing in Season 4 with the shorter haircut), but as Cox got too thin and scrawny-looking, her character got more insufferable.

Jennifer Aniston was so hot during the first couple seasons of Friends that I would tolerate any personality from her character.

I never found any of them exceedingly attractive. Jennifer Aniston just irritates me in general, Phoebe is a dope, and well Gale Weathers. Nuff said.

Pretty much.  I actually think she was at her hottest in the early seasons when she still had a little bit of baby fat on her.  That episode in Season 1 where she loses Ross' monkey might have been her at the height of her hotness.  Wearing that plaid skirt and knee high socks.  Yama-hama.  :hefdaddy :hefdaddy

We're venturing pretty far off topic here, but I agree that she was at her hottest then, before she got thinner.

- Joyce Byers from Stranger Things

George Costanza.

Abby Schiuto comes to mind here (you can put any of the hipster IT people here from any of the procedural shows).

I would agree with second part. But while it seems Abby lives in her lab, there is plenty of evidence to infer that she has a sufficient life outside of the naval yard.

- Leroy Jethro Gibbs

Gibbs, despite his epic coolness, would likely be a bore. He spends all his free time working in his shop. Hanging with DiNozzo would be awesome, if only to talk film for hours on end. Plus he'd probably foot the bar tab. He would be the worst wingman though.

Peggy Hill - I really despise her on King of the Hill. I've known a few people in the work environment who had similar traits as her, such as never admitting you're wrong, or over estimating you're competence.

I wouldn't say Peggy is a "Great" TV character, but yes she would be insufferable. To that end, so would Dale and Bill.

Urkel and Gilligan come to mind.

I have a friend who's pretty much a real life Gilligan. I want to punch him sometimes.

Will Hunting.  Intimidating in every way and you'd have no ground to stand as an equal.

It's not your fault.

Also, how has nobody mention Eric Cartman yet? I assume that's just a given, but here, now we have him on the list. :)

Leonard McCoy. For the most part just stands around to mope about the situation.
