When was this tour supposed to start? 19+ dead in Manchester
It is an absolute tragedy what happened in Manchester, but unfortunately this can happen to any large crowd at any point in time these days. The bomb was set off in a public area, outside of the actual concert venue. I don't think this validates Kansas cancelling their tour to be honest, if anything, it are the EU citizens that are out in the streets that are in danger, not the people performing. I don't think there is an realistic way to garantuee safety to large crowds in public areas. These days (post Paris terror attacks) the actual concert venues tend to be much thighter in security, especially during larger events (not always visible. For example, they use dogs to track potential bombs). And there is always an option to hire more security, though I imagine that can harm profits quite a bit.
