Hey, I was thinking.  Most DTF meetups I know of have revolved around concerts/music festivals.  Is this the first one (of this size - I know of 2-person meetups and other small affairs) that happened at a social/life event?  Or am I forgetting something from the past?

Way back myself, Bill, Jackie, and a few others got together in the NYC area and I think once or twice it did not revolve around a show. But there certainly wasn't as many people and everyone was from the area.

Yup, the only other one's I've been involved in were one person events, usually people coming to my restaurant, or your semi-annual SF work trips.

He's even from Philly, so it was a running joke leading up to the wedding that we should get him to announce the bridal party at the reception. So I got him to do the attached video, and had it sent to the band in advance ready to play at the right time. As far as Jennie knew, Shelby Logan Warne was to be announcing us just like she was everyone else, but instead got Faruq with our special bot themed intro."

That's awesome. I loved all the BB nuggets that he dropped throughout it.

Thanks again, Nick. V and I had a blast. I loved the venue, the tunes were great, the food was excellent, and the overall vibe was just awesome. We spent a lot of Sunday recovering as we had back-to-back open bar wedding nights, and then Monday rolled around and everything we were planning to do in Allentown was closed  :lol We decided to shoot over to Philly and spent the day there. It was a nice cap to the long weekend.
