After well over a year of polls, polls and breaks, at last we are at the long, long finals of the Iron Maiden Survivor. I'm excited to get this started and see how the various songs perform. Here's how it goes: 36 songs from 16 albums, we'll vote them off one at a time until we have a champion.

Just looking at this list, I have no doubt that we have a set of worthy finals songs in front of us. These are definitely 36 of the bands top songs in my opinion, even though some of my personal favorites fell short of this round. For the first several rounds, while we have over 30 songs, I think voting will be contentious and it will be hard to choose among all these songs. But just looking at this list, I think I have to vote for a song from the Di'Anno era that I've always felt has been somewhat overrated—to me, it sticks out among this list of mostly great songs as one that is merely good.

Mother Russia.  It's okay, but it's pretty awkward and the solo section rips off 7th Son.  I'd be happy with Wrathchild though.
