the local NPR station in Minnesota "89.3 The Current" with (Minnesota Public Radio) is doing 1 of their annual voting the for the Top 893 things again (they did Albums in May 2016, and now it's Artists in May of 2017).

so the other day I both voted and posted a long diatribe in my blog about it and referenced this topic as well

I always come back to the Gimme Gimmes. They're a cover band, but I can't deny how much I love them.

Love my Gimmes album (Have a Ball). Never got into them past that album, but it doesn't change how good that album is. Also fun to see Green Day get some love on a prog forum (along with 311 and Sublime). It's nice to see different genres instead of 10 progmetal bands I've never heard of haha.
