Arjen Lucassen Spin-off Survivor — Vocal Performance

The series of Ayreon/Arjen Lucassen Spin-off Survivors continues! However, before we do the inevitable huge Survivor with the singers involved in Ayreon project—I'd like to do it when The Source drops, so we would have more source material—we're going to do this little Spin-off Survivor.

This Survivor is based on multiple side projects organized by Arjen, namely Ambeon, Star One, Stream of Passion, Guilt Machine, Arjen's solo work and The Gentle Storm. In each poll, I ask you to vote for either your least favourite, or vote strategically to save the person whose vocal performance you really admire and love. It's your choice. One thing I ask, though, is to avoid metagaming, so to speak—keep in mind that these polls are based solely on the singers' performance on Arjen's albums, and you should base your vote on that. So, for example, if you love Russell Allen's vocals in Symphony X, but can't stand them on Star One albums, you probably ought to vote against him.

Well, that's about it, folks. Once again, these polls are based only on the singers' performance on Arjen's albums. Floor's performance in After Forever or ReVamp doesn't matter here, neither does Russell's performance in SX, and so on. Only Arjen-related albums count. I don't expect the turnout for this little Spin-off to be high, but I hope we can at least get five or six voters.

And of course, when The Source drops, we will do Ayreon singers spin-off.

You mean "This whole album and other guest performances here and there"? because unless I missed something, she's the only singer for the entire album...

I meant that she's the lead singer, but there's also backing vocals by Marcela Bovio and contributions by the Epic Rock Choir or whatever it's called. Kinda like Jasper sang most of the Guilt Machine stuff, but there was also Arjen on the backing vocals here and there.

Probably not better in the technical sense but more fitting to the songs he sings.

This is basically the plan, yes. Of course, it won't be one huge poll with all the Ayreon singers in it, because that would be too much.
