Is it a joke or Am I Just Good at it?

Near everyday whilst surfing the internet reading news or what not on one or multiple sites there is an article with some sort of picture that says something to the effect of  "Amazing Brain Teaser is Stumping the Internet: Can you spot the (fill in the blank) In this Picture"  implying that it's tough to find or something. Now, I'm not trying to brag but literally in every instance I can find whatever it is that they are talking about within a minute, most of the time within 30 seconds.

Is it really supposed to be tough or have I identified some kind of odd talent?

I think we're all largely susceptible to click-bait. I know it's completely meaningless, but "see what she did next," "great hack to improve. . ." or "can you do X" catch my attention every time. I then recognize it for what it is and ignore it, but there's still a trigger there. Eventually I just started filtering anything from Outbrain and whatnot so it wouldn't distract me.

They are just difficult enough to provide a moderate challenge while still being easy enough for the vast majority of people to solve. You're being manipulated to generate ad clicks.

My "IT Guy" recently told me that there is a huge increase in these things being set up to for the sole purpose of trying to hack your info. Especially all of those dumbassed quizzes. So, I try and stay away.

It's like those PEMDAS math questions on social media that are concocted to specifically be ambiguous so that people start arguing. That generates more shares and clicks.
