Can't say I am a Bond diehard but , due to my age/generation, he's the guy (and the "vibe") that I most associate with the franchise.

Guess i'm watching all of the Moore bond films again, in the near future.
Fantastic actor all the way, not just in Bond!

Sometimes he gets written off as the "goofy" bond. But stuff like The spy who loved me and Live and let die are up there as some of my favs
And I even get incredible enjoyment out of moonraker.
