They showed up as a "you might like" probably from my Halestorm playlist so I checked out "Give In to Me" a while back and thought it was cool but didn't take it further.  But then "Worth the Pain" showed up and blew me away.  I love the energy and riffage.

They feel like a more aggressive Halestorm and where I also feel Halestorm has done something to their sound/songwriting that I can't put my finger on that's rubbing me the wrong way I'm really getting into Letters from the Fire.

I hope the new Halestorm goes back to the ways of their first two albums cuz the last one just didn't do it for me.

Their entire "Worth the Pain" album is only $8 on iTunes and I feel it's a steal so I'd definitely recommend them to check out.  Don't get the EP, though, it's old with a male vocalist and really isn't the same thing as they are now.
