Posting this one up an hour early, but with 40 total votes, and with "Wither" leading ahead by at least 5, I doubt it'll NOT lose, so "Wither" gets to disappear from the survivor. Looks like it could be close between ANTR and TSF for 3rd place. oddly enough, TCOT lost a vote from last round.

A strong factor of why a ballad is unlikely to win is because there are always just one or two of them in every album, while the other type of songs (the "normal" songs) is predominant.. And that happens in DT and most of bands.. I don't get the surprise..

It could if it wasn't terrible.

Of course anyone can like or not like the song, but it has a very nice and memorable melody, a catchy chorus, and the break after the post-chorus bridge when they all stop and it's only Jordan and James with him singing before the short solo is just gorgeous. DT are well known and appreciated for their musical prowess but I think they often get right also these simple, small moments.
