Do it.  Show the initiative.  You got this.

Agree with King, and even though it's months away try to show your interest. In the meantime you can always be thinking of a plan .

Cramela is fine with me, she does have a name.  Mappy. And no Jigglypuff isn't doing it.  Well it's fine for an icon, not for a banner.

Mappy?? Is this someone you know?

I have a few pictures of her.  One is pretty sexy.  I was just sharing the sample I got.  I needed some revisions so once that's complete I'll have the final images

I think DTF should see the samples and pick the winning image!

:lol and no, I sadly do not know this lady.  I used that website fiverr.com to find a girl to take pictures for me.  Cost $21 after fees, but assuming she fixes what I asked, I plan on throwing some extra for a tip (well I'll giver her one anyway, but final cost to me is still TBD).  She's been great to work with although she kind of fucked up pretty badly on a few aspects of what I requested of her, hence the revisions I asked for.  Most specifically are the dimensions of the photo aren't right.

Just booked a one-way flight to Florida, going to grab my motorcycle and ride 600 miles back home in one day. Will my body make it? :lol

The most i've ridden in one day is 100 miles. Maybe 150. Don't think i could manage 600 in one day.

I've done a 400 mile bike ride before and it wasn't easy but I want to bring my bike up to NC and I'm sure I can handle the ride. Lots of breaks.

That's what I"m hoping, it's beautiful today in Charlotte so hopefully in a couple of weeks it'll be nice. I've driven through rain a bunch of times so I'm not too worried about that, it's more the cold/ice.

Sounds like an adventure.  Hopefully the weather works out.

And I'd walk 500 more.

Hello folks.

Driving back from visiting Dad.  2 hours ago it started to snow.  18 to 24 inches expected.   Damn winter is making up for the easy time we had so far.

Tbis should be a quiet week, though I'm sure the fates will have something to say about that. Boss is out all week, one person is on vacation all week, and another is on personal leave for health. Quieeeeeeeeeet.

My job is hilarious in the sense that everyone drags their feet on Monday's because it's Monday.

Tuesday and Wednesday work gets done, Thursday is close to the weekend so everyone is a little loose and Friday no one does anything.

Yup same here.  Mondays and Fridays are typically quiet and everyone wants to get their shit done on Tuesday - Thursday.

So they found a mass in my dad's right lung.  They have to build up his strength first to walk on his own then they'll do a biopsy.  My have been a blessing in disguise that he was so stubborn.  They took him of his Ritalin that helps with his focus so we had to get the proxy to by in control of Dad's health.

Me too. It feels like we are trying to plug up holes in a damn with not enough fingers right now.  It feels like my dad is giving up on his health.  It's heartbreaking.

I'm really sorry. Never know, though. He might pull through and get some good strength back. All you can do is be supportive and caring, which you are.

G'morning all.

Sorry to hear about that Joe.  You never know though how someone's health can turn around. My grandmother was rushed to the hospital once while I was in grad school. I was told to expect to have to come home in the next few days, and my grandmother received her last rites twice during that stay. My dad went to the hospital the morning after her second last rites to find her sitting up wide awake and alert complaining about wanting to go home. She lived for more than five years after that.
Photobucket sucks.

Well, I've got 2 fronts to worry about right now.  1st is Dad's pride and not taking care of himself to be independent still.  If he has to be in a wheelchair he won't be able to live in his house anymore and that's a hard thing to deal with.  Secondly is the mass they found in the lung.  That is exactly what happened to my mom who dies of lung cancer 5 years ago.

The scary part was he was admitted to the hospital the same day my mom passed away 5 years to the date so it hit a sensitive chord with our family.
