So Dell has messed up again.  The reason I need to go to LA this weekend is to fix their mistake and now they just messed up again with my parts delivery due to a shortage, which they only just now told us (after giving us a confirmation date and hence I booked the trip around that date).  Sooo my boss gave me two options, cancel the trip and work will pay the fees, or take a work paid vacation to LA since it's all booked and paid already (and they are pushing those costs onto Dell).    I can't believe how ridiculous that is and how awesome it is for me.  There's still a chance I get the work dropped on me (which is fine of course) but this is just so much fail that it may end up a win for me.

That's good that you'll get some free time on your trip, although I guess having the entire trip free would have been even nicer. One of my YT videos includes the Griffith Observatory in it.....

She's like drop dead gorgeous and sweet as sugar. Like.. she's lived here for 4 years... I interact with her daily.. and I still melt when she's around.


And she's getting married tomorrow apparently.

The inside is awesome, there's a planetarium there (not shown in my video, since you aren't allowed to video in there).  I've already seen all the shows though, hopefully they have a new one out now to catch.

Reaper and I alternated a bit when we played it a little while ago, so we both suffered. I seemed to do better with shitty ping, or maybe we were just playing worse players. Obviously it would make more sense to stick to the US servers if we were all playing.

I told my GF after we moved to Charlotte that 400 channels of TV plus fiber internet for $200 when we came from Florida which had 80 channels and 100mb down for $220, I'm never leaving.

It's pretty amazing but we are just lucky because we have a major bank presence in Charlotte that we got fiber. $75 of our bill is internet, my gf's sister pays $59 in Raleigh and she has 18mbps down simply because they don't have the competition.

Thats crazy but you nailed it with the competition.  It sucks your house can be in an area with a monopoly.  I definitely was concerned about this when house shopping and was nice to see every TV/internet provider had connections to my house, which of course with Verizon FIOS, it was still an easy decision, but I know I have options if pricing gets out of hand (which it hasn't).

Just started our vacation.  We went to a concert last night.
