I've found imgur a little convoluted for basic image hosting too, although I'll take it over Photobucket these days. Photobucket barely even works.
This is why I find the easiest solution is to just FTP the image directly to my server and link it directly.

Yeah, I plan on pre-gaming at a bar somewhere (hopefully with a good group from DTF), which I do find to be a little humorous.

Good afternoon folks.


So today is the last day of my busy 3 day "weekend". Tomorrow is back to reality. It's been nice. I kinda fixed my phone (Bought a new SIM card, and its working more reliably- I think it was a combination of worn out SIM plus the contacts in the phone not reading it, as I still have issues, but not as often). Work thinks I don't have a phone still, so all communication during the last few days has been via email, which is nice... seeing as my phone is usually getting blown up all the time.

I just don't understand what they were trying to achieve with any part of the song, either individually or as a whole. You know what? It's the Platypus of Dream Theater songs. That bill doesn't go with that tail, or that strange little furry body, or those webbed feet, and oh god why does it have venomous spurs!? And then you find out it lays eggs too. The difference is that the Platypus is somehow functional despite being a crazy mishmash or leftover animal pieces

Just took a screencap, logged in to PB, and posted the link.  Nothing I haven't done 100s of times already.  Perhaps maybe it's just a US thing?  Select users?  Phased roll-out?  Who knows, but at least I'm still good-to-go.

I noticed Photobucket has a feature to download your entire album in one zip file, so I did that just to make sure I have everything saved (probably do, but I'm not digging through 400 images to check), and then deleted my account. Fuck 'em.

Mine was still working too, but I assume they're taking time to roll it out.
Either way, I deleted my account on principle. I don't use it these days anyway because it's such a tedious piece of crap compared to any other method I use to share pics

Yea, once I get hit I will do the same.  Their website was so ad riddled that I figured, OK I'll deal with the ads for the free hosting, but screw that if they are looking for money now.  I'll go somewhere else.  Sadly maybe that leaves imgur, but at least it's free.

I do have my own server at home, but I don't find it as easy to use for publicly sharing pictures compared to an image hosting site.

I managed to get it done, I just had to restart some of them a few times. It was stalling just after the robot verification. It seemed to be taking way too long to collate into an archive what amounted to 2-3 MB of images.

Weird. Probably just photobucket being typically crap photobucket. At least it got there in the end. I had 35mb of images, and it took a minute or two.
