Good morning peeps.

It's been a slow morning at work so far. Partly because I am Blobbing and not giving a damn right now. I have a few things I need to get done, and they will be done tomorrow (The perk of being the only "supervisor" on during the weekends.)

Also the fact that I am leaving work early today to go down to Malibu for my other half's grandparents' 60 somethingth anniversary doesn't help my motivation. So I am just sitting here watching various Zakk Wylde videos on Youtube.  (I've also realized after watching some Zakk Sabbath videos, that that particular project should be taken in with a ton of alcohol.)

I just don't understand what they were trying to achieve with any part of the song, either individually or as a whole. You know what? It's the Platypus of Dream Theater songs. That bill doesn't go with that tail, or that strange little furry body, or those webbed feet, and oh god why does it have venomous spurs!? And then you find out it lays eggs too. The difference is that the Platypus is somehow functional despite being a crazy mishmash or leftover animal pieces

Nobody this time. Christopher Lloyd was supposed to be there, but pulled out last minute. It was fucking packed today, because they got Thor, and only for today.

I didn't buy anything. I usually don't, because I'm cheap, and I just spent $500 this weekend on the new graphics card.
There wasn't a lot of variety this year in what people were selling, and the cosplay was a letdown too, but I still had a lot of fun.

Good morning and Happy Father's Day to you fathers out there.


I am beat. Dinner last night was... interesting.

We drove down to Malibu (45 minute drive) to eat dinner at Paradise Cove, an apparently very popular seafood place right on the beach. This was for my other half's Grandparents' 60th anniversary... We had a party of 7, but apparently the place didn't do reservations for parties smaller that 10, yet they didn't have tables that seat more than 6  (small people) besides ONE 12 person table.. So I got stuck sitting in the walkway on a wooden chair.  Food was good... even though I literally had to hold my plate while I ate :lol .

The best part of the meal though was the fact that the place was crawling with women in bikinis. You see, the place has a bar and is in front of one of the nicest beaches in the area... and the dining area separates the beach and the bar... so they had to walk past me to get their alcohol. The fact that people were literally rubbing up against me to get past each other. So much tits and ass :biggrin:


And then I was up till nearly 130 AM baking a cake. I am a walking zombie today.

Survived the journey from Seattle to San Fran, just got to the hotel and am completely wiped from all the driving the past 5 days.  Going to recover and head out for a nice dinner and maybe some drinks.  We are staying right at the Fisherman's Wharf  :yarr
