Gonna be a smokin hot weekend and week. Gonna try to do as much of nothing as I possibly can. Sit on the deck and read (Hef... I'm now 1/3 thru Song of Suze). When it gets too hot and I need to chill, I might come in and do my chores. jingle.son and daughter both have driving lessons today, and daughter is working tonight. Mrs.jingle is gonna want me to work on the honey-do list, but I'm gonna try and weasel out of that for today.

I usually surround my patio with tiki torches, besides the bug repellent part, I also just love the fire atmosphere of them. Although I burnt on town recently, I haven't fixed my full tiki torch surroundings.

Going to Hoboken tonight to see my friend band perform. He hasn't played a show in years and he didn't even tell any of us about it so my friend and I are going to surprise him. I'm going to try and get a video of him too for my YouTube as I would for any other concert I go to.

I shared this in musicians thread, but I pretty much never go over there and since I brought it up yesterday, just got this bad boy uploaded of my good friend's band. He was sooooo happy and excited that we showed up. They were really good.

So I just sent 2 emails to my supervisor passively calling him out for some of the shit going on that he's been dropping the ball on (mainly me restating things I've brought up to him within the last week or 3 which he's been ignoring.. ) and asked him why he has never gotten back to me regarding these things. I also CCd the owner of the company. Oops

I sent the owner a text asking him if I could speak to him regarding the emails. He's going to call me within the next hour or so.

Spoke with him right before I went home. Told him all the BS. He basically told me that 1: He is going to give me a promotion and raise (which I already knew), as well as a new title (Assistant Post Commander) probably effective the next pay period. And 2: He is going to tell my supervisor to basically Shit or Get Off The Pot or he's going bump him down or maybe even ax him and put me in his place.

Yesterday was something else. We had a team meeting with one employee who is responsible for two things at work, not that complicated but she completely dropped the ball.

She can't take criticism, she started crying and being really defensive. The thing is we didn't attack her, we just asked what we can do to help, but she accused us of trying to take her job.

Dad's surgery went well. They took a 1/3 of his lung out. He was just brought to the room and he's sleeping. I. Hessibg there soon.
