Our Police force is way understaffed, under trained, and just... I have a feeling a lot of them are jaded to point that they don't give a fuck.

I just don't understand what they were trying to achieve with any part of the song, either individually or as a whole. You know what? It's the Platypus of Dream Theater songs. That bill doesn't go with that tail, or that strange little furry body, or those webbed feet, and oh god why does it have venomous spurs!? And then you find out it lays eggs too. The difference is that the Platypus is somehow functional despite being a crazy mishmash or leftover animal pieces

I just don't understand what they were trying to achieve with any part of the song, either individually or as a whole. You know what? It's the Platypus of Dream Theater songs. That bill doesn't go with that tail, or that strange little furry body, or those webbed feet, and oh god why does it have venomous spurs!? And then you find out it lays eggs too. The difference is that the Platypus is somehow functional despite being a crazy mishmash or leftover animal pieces

The area I work in is like the second newest community in the city, and by far the most up scale in the city. As soon as you cross the street, you're in what the cops call "The Blue Ghetto", which is a really really shitty neighborhood.

I'm going to get flamed for this but my girlfriend asked me to come to a show with her and he is a great performer. His guitar playing is on point and watching him sing and construct the songs through a looper is very impressive.

I don't know any of his music, but I listened to his Howard Stern interview last week or two ago when I had XM radio in my LA rental car and thought he came off as a pretty interesting and cool guy.  He's making a musical appearance in this season of Game of Thrones apparently.
