In number #6: 1985.

The results from Affinity have been proven wrong in these Finals, where the songs go out in a different order. We're left with a top 5 now, consisting of two songs from both Aquarius and The Mountain, and the lone Consolation rounds winner. Based on the votes in the last few rounds, it looks like Aquarium will be the next to go, but any predictions made in this survivor before have been proven wrong as well.

There's just some unexpected things that happened. The results for Aquarius and The Mountain are pretty similar to those in other years. It's on the other albums that weird things happened. Considering the songs we had in the Finals, I don't think what has happened so far really surprises everyone. I would have bet on Deathless and Earthlings being the first two to go for example. Nocturnal Conspiracy is another one of those songs that is liked a lot by some, but others (like me) don't think much of it. The results throughout Affinity were so close that it doesn't surprise me that the songs are leaving in a different order than on their respective albums.

Curious results. I for one have enjoyed this Haken survivor going a bit differently than expected, even if the results are way different than how I would've liked them.

I know, but 1985 and The Endless Knot made it to the finals on their own, yet they're both out and The Architect which came through Consolation is still here and it doesn't seem to be going out just yet. Clearly this survivor format gives out bad results

But The Architect should have won Affinity, so justice is served here in the Finals.

It's kind of funny how people blame The Survivor and call it all sorts of names when results don't go the way they want. It's like people blaming "2016" for killing so many famous people.
