Here's the first round for SFAM, done by album track, so you've got 12 options to choose from here! Predictions: TMW or OLT will be out first, though the opening track may go too.

Regression, it's dragged down by the narration. Perfect set up for a perfect album of course, it's just that Through My Words is perfect as it is.
I use my sig to pimp some bands from Italy! Check out Elvenking (Power / Folk metal), Folkstone (Rock / Medieval metal), Arcana Opera (Gothic/Noir/Heavy metal) and the beautiful voice of Elisa!

Through Her Eyes.  To me it feels out of place amongst all of the other tracks.

people on this board are actual music fans who developed taste in music and not casual listeners who are following current fashion trends and listening to only current commercial hits.

Through Her Eyes

The fact that people are voting Through Her Eyes before Regression confuses me. One is a genuinely nice, soothing ballad & the other is a hypnotic monologue with ticking in the background & like 3 seconds of an actual song at the end.

Through My Words, great in connection with Fatal Tragedy, as a stand alone song not so much
Must've been Kwyji sending all the wrong songs.   ;D

But everything else is better.

I feel this sort of choice at least deserves some sort of statement on why this would be your least fav song.

Regression. Great way to open the album, but as a single song compared to the rest it doesn't have much.

Hef is right on all things. Except for when I disagree with him. In which case he's probably still right.

Goddammit, you blew my cover!

Seriously though, I dislike the instrumental section (those horns :puke:), and while the newspaper style lyrics serve the story, I find them pretty clunky in a musical context. I'd rather listen to Regression on repeat.

The instrumental part is actually the only section of BTL that I enjoy. I'm gonna join in on the vote pretty soon.
