"Voices" is shut out, with only 3 votes above "The Mirror", which gets to move on to the Finals with "Scarred", but only one of those two gets to be the king of Awake! Previous rounds' results indicate that "Scarred" may be crowned, but who knows where the 20 votes for "Voices" will land between these two songs! We've had a record 47 voters in the last round, so it'll be interesting to see how close (or not close) these results will be!

Starting tomorrow, I will post TWO Survivors for SFAM - one with 12 options, another with 9, and we will see how different the results end up, and then we can vote for which Top 3 will represent the album in Consolation and Finals! Hope everyone participates and has a good time with it! :tup

scarred is still better though

Awake is my favorite album, and I love every song on it. The Mirror is fantastic, but compared to most other Awake songs, it's pretty one dimensional, so that's why I'm pretty surprised.

That's something of a shocker! I never expected The Mirror to get into the Finals, or even Consolation for that matter. I think we have one of our top 2 of Consolation here though. Anyway, The Mirror is (obviously) where my vote goes here.

For me, talking generally about this kind of game, the "vote your LEAST favorite song" weighs in, and people go after the song(s) they actually dislike rather than making a choice each time based on the actual song remaining. If someone just doesn't like Voices, they will vote the song 'cause they don't like it and don't care to have it still running, rather than just deciding if there are some songs left they dislike more.

Now this is speaking generally, it's not referred to this specific case (hey, people may genuinely like The Mirror more), but this is the impression I got from taking part in these games.
