Pain Of Salvation Survivor 2017 - One Hour By The Concrete Lake - Round 1

Nightmist wins the Entropia survivor! Both "!" and Nightmist are qualified for the finals.

When I think about Entropia I think about a collection of excellent tracks, rather diverse between them, while OHBTCL is more homogeneous, has a great flow and contains songs with simpler structure and with similar style. Probably the songs from OHBTCL won't go that far in the finals, and I think that this album doesn't have a 10/10 song at the level of some of the masterpieces from other albums like TPE or RL, but it's my most listened PoS album and the one I enjoy the most to listen in its entirety.

My first vote is for Spirit Of The Land, of course.

I'd put this ahead of Scarsick and both Road Salts.

The production really hurts it. If they do a remix the same way they did one for RL, it could be quite awesome.

This album is weird since I don't hate any of the songs, but none of them are favorites of mine, I just kind of like them all a lot. So I can't imagine having any special passion for one song being eliminated at any given time.
