Speaking of ProgPower, I was planning on going next year, but it turns out I have a dentist appointment.  Or a hernia operation.  Something.   ;) :)

Hah! :lol

If you show up, first drinks are on me. Also you might get to see something special but your PMs are full. Again.  :lol

I cleared it out, but please, no d*** picks in my PM box.

Use my cell phone.  ;) :) :)

I think Buffet is the kind of artist that you either give the benefit of the doubt to, or not.   He's known for the dumb shit - Margaritaville, Fins, Why Don't We Get Drunk And Screw - but he's a phenomenal songwriter in his own right, and some of the deeper stuff is really insightful.  I'm partial to "Son Of A Son Of A Sailor" for various reasons.

Yeah, my favorite Jimmy Buffet song is hands down He Went To Paris. That song is genuinely heart wrenching. Growing up, I had my fair share of laughs listening to the classic comedic songs due to my parents, but they've all really stuck with me. Especially his more serious songs.

I'm not quite at Parrot Head level, but I do like Jimmy Buffett.  Songs like Volcano, Cheeseburger in Paradise, Pencil Thin Mustache, and Fins etc,  are a lot of fun to listen to and make you want to open a cold beer or a mixed drink.  Great music to have when on a small party barge on the lake during warm summer nights.
As someone mentioned above, Son of a Son of a Sailor is one of my favorite Buffett Songs. What's really cool about Jimmy Buffett, is that he created his own genre. He's not country, he's not rock, he's just Jimmy Buffett.. 🌴

Exactly.
Beyond the limits of the mortal frame
To the farthest boundary of eternity
Where I, the Cosmic Sea
Watch the little ego floating in me.

Anything and everything uplifting and feel-good is what I'm listening to lately. KC and the Sunshine band has been my favorite.

We need either an actual photo, or a photoshop, of you with hair down to your ass, the Dave Grohl facial hair, a pair of devil horns...  and a Buffet shirt.   :)

Let it be known I only did this because Stadler is my bro. If I die, do not remember me by this photo. I am now scrubbing this from my phone and computer.

Be gentle.  :lol

I'm sorry, but that is how I will forever remember you.  :)

If I end up going to ProgPower next year, I will be able to find you easily.

Why, thank you  :hat

Ya'll. I was just informed there's a new Jimmy Buffett album coming out tomorrow. "Life on the Flip Side." I swear I did not know about this. I am very pleased  :lol First thing I'll be checking out tomorrow.
