I've always heard about the American DMV.

Is it really that bad ?

What is it for ? Just road taxing and insuring your car ?

Can't you do that online now ?

There's one DMV near me that is crazy packed always and that meme fits perfectly.  THen there is another one near me that is always empty.  So unless you are taking your drivers test and need the track, there's no reason to go to the busy one.  You'll need to go for your driver's license and probably to deal with other issues, but what you list can be done online.

I bought a truck recently and went to register it; I was at the DMV for four hours, thirty minutes, for a transaction that took me all of 12 minutes to complete.

You can't do registration transactions online and/or by mail in CT?

Yea, registration is one thing I can do online in NJ.  I can only think of renewing my license as a reason for me to go to one.  Also in NJ the DMV does inspections for free but only certain DMVs so there is always a chance for a huge wait there, but my experiences personally haven't been that bad either.

PB1, stop baiting other people.  If you think a post crosses the line, you can report it.  Beyond that, if a post bothers you, you can either respond on topic or ignore it.  But baiting other people and trolling, which we have seen FAR too much of for someone with only 45 posts, needs to stop.  This is your warning.

Not new ones; only renewals.

Yup, every couple times my license is up for renewal I get the photo card in the mail and have to actually go to the DMV for a new pic. Literally since I took my drivers test when I was 16, that's the only thing I've gone to the DMV for. Everything else can be done online and/or by mail.

Not new ones; only renewals.

Ah, gotcha. That's a legit wait time for a simple registration.

TRUMPS WIG AMIRITE :neverusethis:

If Shatner really does wear a toupee or if he's had implants - it looks way more natural than whatever Trump is using.

I've read that Shats was never really "bald" but his thin hair showed up really badly under studio lighting so he always had "help".

To be honest, Trump's hair, despite its clearly untamed nature, is one of the few things I admire about the guy.  He wears it that way, he doesn't give a fuck.

I genuinely think that he thinks it looks real. I think he thinks he's fooling people.

I think he's that dumb.

This is how he is supposed to look :P

I work in a company with 800 people. One of them is wearing a toupee and 799 people know that it is a toupee because it is totally obvious. But he still believes that no one knows it because it "looks completely natural". I just think that people with toupees are that way and maybe Teump falls into the same category.
Must've been Kwyji sending all the wrong songs.   ;D

Haven't people pulled on it though and shown that it's real?  Because of that I always thought it was actually real hair, but assumed he had some procedure for it.  It certainly doesn't look natural.

From what I understand, his hair is real.

That picture makes Trump look like Michael Keaton.

Fun fact:  I dye my hair in the back, because my natural color - brown on top, gray along the sides, but extending back, makes me LOOK like I have a toupee.  I get a sharp line across the back (think of someone who's gone bald on the top and just has hair on the sides; that's grey for me, and the brown on top looks like a badly matched wig).

Theres no way Trumps hair is real. It blows up like a flap in the wind.

A combover held in place maybe ? The whole middle part literally looks like it's a seperate piece that glued on top of his head.

My hair does that as well and it is real, for now at least.  My hair is light, so the wind just blows it all over very easily.

Yes but from the bottom upwards - not from the top of the head upwards and sideways :P

If it is real it's long hair down the back brushed forward and stuck in place.

I assume his hair is real, some kind of epicly bad comb-over of what hair he has left. I'm sure if a billionaire was to get a toupee, it would actually look half real. If his hair is fake, there's no excuse for it looking that bad.

My cousin and I used to go up to the 2rd floor of our local library and listen to music and Monty Python albums.  I loved just being away from real life eith my earphones on.

I don't know what's supposed to be funny about that, besides maybe the typo.

Ok, I get it now after looking at a map. :lol Sorry, not from the US here.

Sorry, the fact that half the forum wouldn't have better US geography skills than the El Paso Intelligence Bureau went right by me.

To be fair, I especially suck at geography, unless I'm pinpointing the country of origin of Asian chicks.

Well, to be fair, I'm pretty good at geography, and from the western U.S., and it still didn't register on me immediately either.  Failing to immediately distinguish between Colorado and Wyoming at first glance isn't really much of a stretch.
