The Opeth Survivors - Finals - Round 3
« on: December 12, 2016, 07:10:01 PM »
In Mist She Was Standing
Under the Weeping Moon - 1
Advent
To Bid You Farewell
When
The Demon of the Fall
April Ethereal
The Moor
Serenity Painted Death
Godhead's Lament
The Drapery Falls
Bleak
Deliverance
Master's Apprentices
Windowpane
To Rid the Disease - 1
Ghost of Perdition
Harlequin Forest
The Lotus Eater
Heir Apparent
Folklore
The Devil's Orchard
Eternal Rains Will Come
Moon Above, Sun Below
Will O The Wisp - 4
Era
Face in the Snow - 2
Wreath - 1
Burden

Interesting that no one voted for "The Moor." This style is kinda tedious but to keep this survivor running smoothly, I'm willing to sacrifice time.

Ooops, I forgot to post my vote. :(

Wouldn't have made a difference anyway. You know, I don't know if it's fair if I'm voting for some songs that I haven't listened to as fully as others.

Orchid to My Arms Your Hearse, and Watershed to Sorceress is the least I've listened too.

I will stand by my votes, but after listening to the songs I'm not familiar with, I will have to go with Advent. I think it's 13 minutes too long. While it has some memorable passages and catchy acoustic sections...I'm not feeling it. I'm sure if I keep listening to it, it will get better, but....

I would judge you for trying to get rid of Advent this early in this game ;)
but I understand. Their first two albums were hard for me too, but since I listened to it first, I grew used to it.
Advent is a power house once you get used to it.

My vote is "Face in the Snow."

Yeah, I couldn't bear myself to get through their first two albums...I mean it sounds so different compared to My Arms and the following albums, which for me is a bit more bearable.

Weeping Moon
Only a prog fan would try to measure how much they enjoy a song by an equation. :lol
My anime can beat up your anime.

Eternal Rains Will Come.

One of the weaker songs on PC, in my opinion. No clue how it even made the finals.
scorpion is my favorite deathcore lobster
